Allianz Heating & Air is here to help California homeowners capture every available dollar in solar savings. Right now, you can combine generous state rebates with the 30% Federal Solar Tax Credit for thousands in savings – but you must act quickly.

30% Federal Solar Tax Credit – Ends 12/31/2025

Save 30% of your total solar cost on your federal taxes. Your system must be installed and operational by December 31, 2025 to qualify. Combine this with RSSE and SGIP for the biggest savings possible.

Residential Solar & Storage Equity Program – RSSE

One of California’s most generous solar incentives, available in rebates for qualifying PG&E households.

RSSE can cover a large portion of installations costs. Funding is first-come, first-served, so acting fast is key.

You may qualify if you:

  • Are a California homeowner at or below 80% of the Area Median Income
  • Live in a designated low-income or disadvantaged community
  • Participate in programs like CARE, FERA, or LIHEAP

Self-Generation Incentive Program – SGIP

Extra cash incentives for adding battery storage.

California’s SGIP Budget & Equity Resiliency Program can cover 80 – 100% of your battery storage costs.

Are you a low-income PG&E customers (enrolled in CARE/FERA or similar)?
You may qualify for the SGIP Equity Budget covering up to 85% of battery system costs.

If No

Step 1:
Do you live in a fire zone or had multiple outages?

You may qualify if:

  • You live in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 High Fire-Threat District, or
  • You’ve had more than 2 Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS), or
  • You’ve had 5 or more Enhanced Powerline Safety Setting (EPSS) outages since 2023

AND
Step 2:
Household criteria

Must meet one of these:

  • Be enrolled in PG&E’s Medical Baseline Program
  • Meet PG&E’s income eligibility standards
  • Rely on an electric well pump for your water supply

Further eligibility available if you’re enrolled in PG&E’s Energy Saving Assistance (ESA) program or if you already have incentives reserved in an income-qualified solar program (SASH or DAC-SASH).

When combined with RSSE, SGIP can significantly boost your total rebate amount – helping you save thousands more.
